Originally from Canada, Brendon Basiga has a litigation background and is admitted to practice in all Michigan state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan. He has worked as a Court-Appointed Attorney for the 55th District Court in Ingham County, as well as a Court-Appointed Attorney on the Ingham County Felony Appointment List and the Ingham County Delinquency Appointment List. Brendon Basiga devotes his practice to the areas of Criminal Defense and Family Law, including child custody, support and divorce cases. Previously, he was heavily involved with the Cooley Law Journal as an Associate Editor and Editor-in-Chief. He was also a member of the Human Rights Alliance, where he organized a successful letter-writing campaign against Human Rights Violations. Brendon has actively participated in the legal profession in the following organizations: Ingham County Bar Association Member and American Inns of Court Member. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta School of Business. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
