Assertive and skilled representation, combined with over 250 jury and bench trials in both State and Federal courts, Frank Harrison Reynolds successfully represents clients devoting much of his practice to state and federal criminal defense. Placing a premium on quality representation, he pursues an aggressive strategy of litigation using the firm’s many resources including computerized legal research services and consulting with technical experts, including specialists in the scientific and medical fields. He also has many years of experience in family law, probate law and estate planning. He represents law school graduates in Character and Fitness proceedings, for admission to practice law in the State of Michigan. Frank Harrison Reynolds is a shareholder in The Reynolds Law Firm, P.C. and is President of the Board of Directors of the firm. He has actively served the legal profession in the following capacities: Ingham County Bar Association Board of Directors; Member of the State Bar Committee on Judicial Qualifications; Member of Merit Selection Panels to Appoint United States Magistrate Judge and Federal Public Defender for the Western District of Michigan; Member of the American Bar Association; Member of the Western Michigan Chapter of the Federal Bar Association; Domestic Relations Mediator since 1988; Special Prosecutor for the City of Charlotte from 1992-2000; Program Chair of the American Inns of Court, Michigan State University College of Law; Chair of The Thomas M. Cooley Innocence Project Commission for 2002-2003; member of the Historical Society of the Western District of Michigan; Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Lansing Board of Directors; Michigan State Bar Foundation Life Fellow; a member of Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan; and listed in The Best Lawyers in America. He is a past Chairperson of the State Bar of Michigan Standing Committee on Character and Fitness, of which he was a member since 1992. He represents attorneys and judges in disciplinary proceedings. He is an attorney-member of the Magistrate Judge Education Advisory Committee for the Federal Judicial Center. Frank Harrison Reynolds is listed in “Who’s Who in American Law,” and he has lectured extensively on trial skills to various legal organizations. He is a 2001 recipient of the Leo A. Farhat Outstanding Attorney Award, and was recognized by Lawyers Weekly as one of ten outstanding Michigan lawyers. He is admitted to practice in all Michigan state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan; the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan; and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Frank Harrison Reynolds earned his Bachelor of Arts degree and Masters degree from Michigan State University. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
